If you are a special education teacher in the Port Angeles school district and have a need for supplies, tools, training etc., please contact us. Even if we can't meet your need right now, we will post your request on the "Support SPEED STEP" page of the web site - sort of like a wish list - and maybe someone will be able to help. Thanks

I have a need for 2 or 3 weighted vests for children 3-6 years old. These can be hand-made to reduce costs. One parent purchased a child's vest and sewed pockets around the inside of the hem, with velcro closure, to insert weighted materials such as clay or sand. This way the weight could be varied based on child's size. Any help would be very much appreciated!

I can't sew to save my life, but I've got a vacuum sealer so I could make the weights.
