For Parents - Olympic Autism Resource and Support 

The Olympic Autism Resource and Support group was created to fill the need for parents of children with autism spectrum disorders on the North Olympic Peninsula of Washington State to share resources, concerns and gain support in parenting their children with autism. This forum was created to support parents of children with autism however, it is certainly open to parents of children with other developmental disabilities to gain support both personally/emotionally and in navigating the medical, school, and social systems to provide the best care possible to this area's children with special needs. The intent of this group is to serve parents exclusively in a parent-supported environment. It should be noted that some parents on this list have experience with or may be seeking advice about alternative therapies. Discussion of such therapies is encouraged
